Alternative metal is my favorite style as a said earlier in a previous post.Alternative metal is grunge music derivative. What is cool alt metal in three points.

They also have an unusual way of tuning their guitars in “DROPE D”.

There is many category and types that correspond to music. That make it unique and different from others . we call it the musical language. To define a genre of music we can use:
- the subject and the content
- techniques
- the spirit and the context
- the geographical origin
- The listener and the target
The style are also influenced by what the performers and artists were used to listen too.
The Fusional genres
The music style can be compositional style of different origins. Like rap and metal Linkin Park.
Another good example is rock and roll. Rock and roll is the fusion of blues, gospel and country music. there are quite many kind of fusional style for more example check out wipedia’s page

- is almost like heavy metal. In the 1990 Alternative Metal was influenced by grunge music. i like Alt metal because of heavy guitar riffs! And also because of unconventional style that mad the a new renewal in the metal scene
